Every week, we celebrate noteworthy achievements and upcoming events happening within the She Writes Press community in our “Friday High Fives!”
From author interviews to launch parties, we are shining a light on a few of the fantastic things happening in our world.
If you have coverage you’d like to share (that hasn’t already been sent or shared), a new award to your name or an event planned, please let Leila know at email@example.com and we’ll get you included in an upcoming Friday High Fives!
Andrea Jarrell, author of I’m The One Who Got Away, shared her thoughts on courage and what it was like being featured in The New York Times‘ Modern Love with Huffington Post. InStyle recommended I’m The One Who Got Away as a must-read September book. And The TODAY Show featured I’m The One Who Got Away in a fall reading round-up. Andrea will also be at Vroman’s Bookstore in California this week (9/25 at 7 p.m.) for a discussion and book signing.
Reader’s Favorite gave a rave review to The First Signs of April by Mary Elizabeth-Briscoe, and called it, “a touching read where Briscoe’s clear, calm but moving prose will definitely encourage readers not to take the people in their lives for granted and learn how to forgive oneself, let go and embrace new directions in life.”
