We are so proud of our wonderful She Writes Press authors who are already taking over the 2016 Book Awards season and making She Writes Press the most award-winning press of the season.
From Foreword Reviews’ Indie Fab Awards to the IPPY’s, She Writes Press authors from across the board are placing as winners and finalists within their respective categories—some placing in multiple categories.
The IPPY’s alone awarded She Writes Press with 17 medal-winning books and said books coming from She Writes Press “all exhibit(ed) first-rate writing, editing, and design – as well as powerful new voices.”
She Writes Press also SWEPT the USA Best Book Awards with an impressive 39 mentions. Combined with our sister imprint SparkPress’s 13 mentions, we had 52 overall mentions – the most of any publisher in any season ever!
We couldn’t agree more with Foreword Reviews‘ assertion that the books winning independent awards this year prove that “quality does not need to come from giant publishing conglomerates.” Coming off all the awards that were won last season, the volume of She Writes Press inclusions on this list continues to be incredibly impressive and proves that She Writes Press is a major player in publishing. Cheers to all our authors and a special thanks for all you do to move independent publishing forward!
