Pam Webber picked as Editor’s Choice
Pam Webber’s novel The Wiregrass was picked as Editor’s Choice by the Historical Novel Society and placed on its 2016 Long List.
Susan Hadler’s Booklist Review
Susan Hadler received a very positive and warm review from Booklist. The reviewer had this to say about her book: “Both an exploration of loss and a celebration of discovering connections, The Beauty of What Remains is a moving account of one woman’s efforts to make her family whole.”
Leah Lax receives a Starred Review from Booklist
Leah Lax’s novel Uncovered: How I Left Hasidic Life and Finally Came Home received a starred review from Booklist. The reviewer praised the book saying “this memoir questions the choices we make and what we teach our children even as it demonstrates the need to face, understand, and overcome obstacles to personhood.”
In addition to her starred review, Leah Lax’s book also graced the cover of Booklist‘s August 2015 edition. Uncovered: How I Left Hasidic Life and Finally Came Home was named one of the Top Ten LGBTQ Books of the Year.
